PERSONALITY:

arrogance. a most unattractive quality for anyone to have, and many look at it as a weakness. however, eaglestrike holds no shame in being arrogant because he believes it brings upon him an air of importance and respect from the other cats in the clan. along with this, he doesn’t like to think of himself as arrogant, more as proud. he isn’t afraid to boast, or look down upon someone he deems weaker, or less than him. the tom knows he is strong, and a cat not many others would want to go up against. he is very confident in his abilities as a warrior, and as deputy and he sees no fault in being proud and sure of himself.

[/b] the fuse on this big guy is quite short, a trait he acquired from his father. little things, like a shortage of prey, or the scent of another clan on the territory can set him off. when he loses his temper he usually simply becomes quiet, instead of lashing out on someone, but other times he isn’t so calm. the brutes state of mind plays a huge factor in which way he goes. if he’s had a bad day, he will explode. his explosions usually include him growling extensively and taking a swipe at the closest non-living thing, and storming off in a heated fury. eaglestrike has only ever struck out at someone once.

good heart despite the fact that eaglestrike has the less wanted qualities in a deputy, his heart is in the right place. he just wants what is best for the clan, and this is a hard for him, once again because shadowclan is living so close to them. regardless of the compromised living situation, he would give his life to save another clan mate, but he has a hard time showing he cares because he is scared that it will show vulnerability and weakness. but, in certain situations, like when it regards to kits, eaglestrike will sit and comfort and upset cub until it feels better. delicate situations such as deaths, he also reveals his softer side, but only to certain clanmates.

conflicted eaglestrike doesn’t know what he wants in life. of course, he wants to be leader, but in regards to other things, like mates, and having his own family, he is greatly conflicted. he catches himself thinking about losing a kit, or losing a mate and it turns him off of love. on the flip side, he sees happy couples and he longs for that kind of connection. a big part of this also comes from the fact that he is worried a family would take away from his ability to lead the clan when that time comes. as of right now, he is turned off of the ideas of mates, and is currently focused on furthering his skills as a warrior and deputy.
