PERSONALITY:

Snappy. Jaypaw is unbelievably snappy if you anger him. He's easily riled up if a cat ignores him, and he holds grudges. Forgiveness is not his forte. Jaypaw makes his opinion known, be it with a scornful comment, a genuine compliment or a teasing smirk. He makes snide remarks and is quite sarcastic and sardonic. Jaypaw is a disrespectful cat.

This young cat is clever and sly. It makes the other cats wary of his actions and words, but the truth is that Jaypaw really does a cat to like him just as who he is, all his sides. He wants the other cats to know that he can care, but he's too scared to reveal it. He thinks compassion and affection are for the weak. He falls into denial. Jaypaw is selfish and some may call him a coward. He would easily (perhaps that is not the correct word-- it would traumatise him to witness another death, he just doesn't know that) watch his clanmates die. Jaypaw isn't a good ally in battles unless he sees a reason to risk his life for, which is very rare.

Jaypaw doesn't believe in StarClan. Or, rather, he believes that StarClan exists-- but he has no faith in StarClan. He has no respect for the medicine cats. Jaypaw thinks that any cat who relies on prophecies and omens are crazy. Perhaps most cats are hostile to cats from the other clans, but Jaypaw isn't one of them. He'd make conversation and provoke the other cats. Jaypaw pities cats in bad situations, but that's about it. He taunts his enemies and avoids the cats he like.
