- this is hawkpaw, a young and bold thunderclan apprentice who desires to prove himself to his clan, family, and most of all, himself. often overlooked or just outright ignored by his peers for his unusually small stature and his tendency to have his mentors die on him, and having his overprotective brothers, thunderstorm and tigerfang, hover over him every waking moment of his life, have given this young tom a vicious thirst for independence and approval, to the point that he's willing to try anything and everything to prove himself a capable member of thunderclan. his loyalty runs deep to his clan, and he will bravely face down any threat to his clan, even at the expense of his own health. for this, he often ends up in the medicine cat's den for some reason or another, ranging from minor injuries like stuck thorns to major wounds given from battle. however, he is also a friendly soul, and is willing to make friends wherever he goes; with his gentle presence and adventurous demeanor, it truly is hard to hate him, but there are those who would wish this young one harm... and even those who carry secrets that should never have been hidden away... or perhaps never uncovered...

everyone in thunderclan knows about the sons of tigerfate, a loyal and brave tom of thunderclan who perished in battle with his beloved mate, silverstep, both of them survived by three sons: brave tigerfang, bold thunderstorm, and gentle hawkpaw. what they don't know, is that hawkpaw is not of tigerfate's blood, but rather silverstep's compassion for the lost. now, after overhearing his adoptive siblings speak of the matter many moons after tigerfate and silverstep's passing, hawkpaw seeks out his true family for answers... who is he, and why was it that silverstep had to care for him in the first place? the answers might not be what he wants though...

plot #2 :: the hawk incident
while hawkpaw might believe he may never become a warrior no matter how hard he tries, he doesn't let it stop him from being a loyal thunderclan cat, and for his loyalty he is often considered either fearless of stupid thanks to all the incidents and stunts he's pulled. one such incident is to happen soon, and it'll be a life changing experience for the young warrior to be. a hawk is setting its sights on a fellow thunderclanner as its dinner... and hawkpaw is the only thing standing between tragedy and thunderclan. [important note! this plot will happen just before/during the clan games!]
- fawnpaw;; hawkpaw's best friend; one of the two young thunderclan cats whom are around when the hawk attacks, and is the one it initially sets its sights on. she runs for help when hawkpaw first attacks the hawk. claimed by moof

- ah, sunstar. the young and brash leader of windclan with a heard as warm as the sun she is named after. playful and mischievous, this young she-cat is still young at heart and despite her leadership duties doesn't let the burdens weigh her down too much to not enjoy the simpler things of life. the daughter of a former leader, she has big pawprints to fill, but doesn't seem too worried about that and is more set in blazing her own path. many believe this attitude makes her an incompetent leader, but that is far from the truth. in times of crisis, she is able to keep a level head and easily command her clan to safety and victory... sadly, this all disappears the moment a thunderstorm rolls in. friendly but aloof around others outside her clan, it isn't hard to approach her, but it's hard to gain her trust. and because of her rank and beauty, she is often pined after by toms, both within her clan and without; it'll take someone truly special to snatch this she-cat viceroy off her paws though... does anyone have what it takes?

- strong willed yet levelheaded, mousecatcher is the kind of cat you want on your side, whether in battle or as a friend. what he lacks in humor he makes up for in more loyalty that most know what to do with, both to clan and family, and won't back down to a threat against either. often seen with his three siblings while in camp, he keeps a close eye on littleberry and often talks to lionstorm in attempts to help him see that his looks are his own and not their father's. when he's not doing that, he spends most of his time with nightlily, his only mother figure, quietly talking and enjoying each other's company. but for all his good brother traits, there is a darkness creeping up over his soul - their father is still out there... and if he shows his face again, mousecatcher isn't sure what will happen.

- roses are beautiful, and smell oh so sweet indeed. but every rose has its thorns, and that is exactly what rosethorn is - her pretty face can charm you into letting your guard down enough to get pricked. the niece of birchstar himself, rosethorn has been trained to be a ruthless and stone cold member of riverclan, never having felt the love of her parents or the protect of any siblings. however, birchstar seems to have done too well a job in growing her, and if he's not careful, he just may get pricked as well, and she'll make sure the blood flow doesn't stop if that ever happens. this she-cat is truly a tragedy to know, someone who never felt the warmth of loving and friendly companionship, and therefore knows not how to give it in return; she needs a hero... and hero may just be outside of riverclan, beyond the piney forest.

- truly, is there any other warrior that can symbolize what is expected of a thunderclan warrior than thunderstorm himself? one would have to look far and wide in order to find one, and even then they'd be hard pressed. branded with the very symbol of his clan on his hide, named after it, and with roots going back to the glory days of a firestar-ruled thunderclan itself, this kindly warrior is known all over the territories for his bravery, loyalty, and strength in the face of adversity. there is nothing that can break the bonds that thunderstorm has to thunderclan, or those he has with his siblings; hawkpaw and tigerfang. however, shadows lurk behind this young tom's life, anger and love twisted together throughout the moons of his life as events came along that crushed those he cares about the most. vengeance is a spirit that has taken hold of him, and sadly even the innocent will suffer his wrath.

- after so long, living in an utter hellhole for thirteen moons, and having to do whatever was necessary to survive, she has finally made it back to thunderclan in mostly one piece, leaving behind all the horrors she endured to the past. a proud and brave warrior of thunderclan, there isn't many who can stand up to silverstep when she's set on a course, and leaves many in awe of her indomitable spirit that just doesn't match her size. however, while her return to thunderclan is celebrated, things have changed in the short thirteen moons she's been gone - her beloved mate has gone to starclan, her sons have grown and changed, leadership has shifted, and the pressure of the secret she's been carrying for so long is pushing down harder than ever... she left quite the mess when she disappeared like she did, and now she doesn't know how to fix this, without someone paying the price for her ignorance.

▶ tigerfang ( son ) - oh tigerfang... whenever i look at you, i see so much of your father in you. you are his spitting image, from your looks to your personality, i dare say i can't find anything of mine besides the texture of your fur and the lighter shade of your markings. you've grown into a fine warrior, one that cats will tell their grandkits about moons from now, and i know tigerfate is smiling down on you right now and is feeling the same pride i am... but i have to ask... who is she and where is she from? your forbidden mate who takes up so much of your time? ...and how can i help this so that you keep your smile when it all comes crashing down?
▶ thunderstorm ( son ) - my little thunderstorm. i remember the days when you were a kitten, just barely able to walk. your special marking attracted so much attention, and it was such a unique marking that i just had to ask the leader if it would be okay to name you after the clan. now here you stand, a true warrior of thunderclan, one to be truly proud of... your father would be so proud. now all i have to do is nudge wildstar in your direction and get you both out of this slump... somehow.

▶ cindermist ( daughter-figure ) - cindermist, loveable cindermist. i remember when you were no more than a cute little apprentice, trailing behind thunderstorm as you left for training with my words echoing in his ear to be gentle with you. i see time as done you good... you're a talented medicine cat, no matter what rainstorm thinks. who else could've saved my life like you did? and don't worry, i know what it's like to have a mother like that...
▶ foxbite ( first crush & best friend ) - foxbite... what is there to say? what can i say that won't sound like an excuse? we've known each other for so many moons, i should've known better, but i was blind with old pain. when you chose snaketail as your mate, i was hurt so badly, but i found love in tigerfate and was happy. then one day she came to me in hysterics, and i agreed to help her. i believed her words, i thought you'd turned into some kind of monster... then i saw her that rainy night in the forest, barring her claws down on that helpless, much too tiny kit, and i realized who the real monster was. and know that i... that i played a part in creating that monster... that hurts worse than anything else...

- say hello to foxglove, a strange little rascal of a she-cat who is just as smart as she is beautiful. since she woke up in that vet's office just five short moons ago, foxglove has taught herself everything she knows by trail and error, running through the gauntlet over and over, and picking up a few tricks along the way, such as her way to eat deathberries without dying, a trick that left many rogues back in the twolegplace scratching their heads. she's been giving the clans a bit of a problem as of late, hunting their territories and making fools of their warriors, but there is method in the madness. she cannot remember any of her life before the time she woke up in the vet's caging, only that something must've happened to make her lose her memory. this is one of the major reasons she's out messing with the clans... maybe someone can help place the final pieces into place?
