RAINPAW

clever, ruthless, courageous, ambitious

meet rainpaw! she thrives on competition and simply wishes to be the best of the best. for an apprentice, she is rather cunning and uses it to her advantage. in battle, she is better known for out smarting her opponents rather than winning over brute strength. she takes fierce pride in herself and her clan. she is not at all like your usual chatty apprentice, but rather tends to keep quiet unless she has something important to say. although she doesn't admit it very often, rainpaw is looking forward to the warrior games. it means a chance at being recognized by everyone as winner, and that's one of her greatest ambitions, however, she is terrified of failure.


Strengths:

• Courageous: Rain is not one to sit back when there is someone in trouble. No matter the situation Rain will push aside any fear she may have and jump into it without second thoughts. She is brave and does not let her own concerns stand in the way of helping another cat.
  
• Clever: She may be one of the most cunning cats you ever meet. Rain is naturally sly and has an instinct for survival which aids her in whatever she may put her mind to whether it's in battle or persuasion.
  
• Determined: Once Rain sets her mind on something there's no stopping her. She will do whatever it takes to reach her goal. Rain will fight until the end in order for her to cure her determination and she won't let anything get in her way.
  
• Observant: Rain isn't always one to speak up unless she has something important to say. She spends her time looking at the details rather than the bigger picture. Because of this Rain will make connections to things that other cats may not even think about. This helps her build up her battle strategies.
  

Flaws:

• Guarded: Rain has come to trust very few cats. She doesn't believe in the obligation of trusting kin, and she is very unbiased to lineage. Because of her struggle to trust anyone other than herself Rain is rather secretive about things. She is also a bit paranoid and believes that most cats are out to ruin her.
  
• Ambitious: When Rain wants something, she wants it badly. She doesn't waste her time on wanting lots of little things but rather goes straight for the jackpot. Once she wants something and sets her mind to it, she gets it, at least most of the time. Her determination definitely does not run short.
  
• Ruthless: Rain may come off as a hero but like every good thing, she has a darker side that she will occasionally give in to. When she does, it's not pretty, she's willing to kill just about anyone to get what she wants.
  
• Unforgettable: Once you do something, either it's good or bad to Rain, she won't forget it. If you save her life, she'll remember and the next time you need a favor done she's willing to go to any extent in order to complete that favor for you. If you get into one quarrel with her, she'll remember and the next time you see her in battle, she'll make sure you pay for it.
  

Fears:

• Fire: Although she has only heard of it and has never once seen it in her life she is scared to death about the damage that fire can cause. Rain is almost neurotic about it, if fire is even mentioned she'll get frightened. She hopes that she will never encounter it for as long as she lives.
  
• Large birds: It may seem peculiar but Rain is also very much frightened by large birds like eagles and hawks. Her mother used to tell her tales of kits that were taken by large winged beasts and to this very day she is still scared of them.
